Also increase your sales by offering
your customers Pay Pal, Safe Secure payment, accept credit cards
without having to apply to the banks for a merchant account or have
as an additional form of payment. Heaps of online customers on our
website are now using pay pal. If you don't have it on your website
you could be missing out. What has Paypal
Done for our business?
As well as running this online
shopping directory website we also run 2 online
shopping cart websites selling fishing tackle
products.
We use Ezimerchant shopping cart
software and have integrated pay pal express
checkout into the shopping cart software which means
at the point of checkout the customer basically gets
to choose which method of payment they would like to
pay with. On our website we accept for payment
methods: Paypal, Credit card, Direct deposit, cash
on delivery, cheque, Money order and pick up.
We conducted a study into what
payment method people used in our online fishing
tackle store and found the following results:
Our study consisted of picking 100
sales between a certain period of days. The sales
picked were 100 consecutive sales and not randomly
picked.
Out of the 100 sales
45 people chose to pay directly
with credit card 43 People Chose to pay with Paypal
and 12 chose another payment method.
So this means 45% chose credit
card as a payment method, 43% chose pay pal and 12%
chose another method of payment. So as you can see a
huge chunk of our customer base used or prefer to
use pay pal as payment method.
Has Using pay pal increased the
number of sales in our online store? I believe the
answer is yes.
If you have an online shopping
business or any business that accepts money online
